Jervis Bay Mussels
Mussel farming Is regarded as one of the world's most sustainable methods of food production and the Blue Mussels farmed In Jervis Bay are a naturally occurring species in the waters of the South Coast of NSW. The lease of the Mussel farm Is 0.4% of the total area of the bay and Jervis Bay Mussels Is the only aquaculture operation permitted to operate In the Marine Park. One of the benefits of farming In Jervis Bay Is that there Is a continual flow of water, which enters the bay on the southern side and flushes out near the seabed on the northern side, resulting in exceptional water quality all year round.
Flavours was started with a love of fine foods and a single olive. In 2006 John and Linley Brumerskyj established Flavours Shoalhaven, selling a range of delicious fine foods and distributing local and international brands across the NSW and the South Coast. From humble beginnings, Flavours is now a wholesale and retail distributor with a product list of over 3,000 items.
